A workshop needed one application to connect spare-parts inventory, procurement, vehicle service work, and operational reporting.
My Role
Responsible for backend architecture, database design, role-based access, module integration, and deployment.
Architecture
Built with CodeIgniter 4 and MySQL as an integrated web application for workshop operations.
Key Features
- Spare-parts stock across storage locations and suppliers.
- Purchase requests, purchase orders, receiving, invoices, and payments.
- Work orders, technician scheduling, progress, parts usage, and service history.
- Operational reports connecting procurement, inventory, and completed work.
Technical Challenge
Keeping purchasing receipts, available stock, and parts consumed by each work order consistent in one workflow.
Outcome
Replaced disconnected operational records with traceable workshop and inventory processes.
